Common Terms
Online Editor is referred to as the browser window you use to create and edit templates and surveys, view reports, and more.
Active Library holds all the editable templates you are able to edit within the Online Editor.
Read Only Library is pre-populated with templates made by Swiftpage emarketing for you to personalize and edit. You will also find in here templates that you have imported, ones that have been distributed or published to you, or ones that you have saved yourself.
SwiftWindows: SwiftWindows are the boxes that when the cursor is moved over, turn to a green border. When a SwiftWindow is selected, it will have a blue border and the window will now be ready to edit.
Mail Merge: Mail Merge allows your emails to be personalized to each individual you are sending to. Mail Merge fields can be inserted anywhere in your email template. Mail Merge fields automatically populate important personalized information upon sending the email. Mail Merge fields always begin and end with two brackets [[Mail Merge]].
SPE Profile Mail Merge: These are tags that you can place in your email template, mainly when creating templates for other users in your account. When a user sends the email, tags such as "[[SpeProfile_CompanyName]]" will convert to that user's company name in their Template Profile.
